Acto 1 - 1

Bodegas El Lomo began its journey in 1989 as part of D. Félix Rodríguez's deep respect for this land and his dream of making a quality wine from Canarian varieties in a valley with an ancestral winemaking tradition: Tegueste.

During all these years a clear goal has been pursued which was to value the production of great Canarian wines from the Canary Islands and in that endeavour a reference brand has been built within the sector.

Acto 1 - 2

At the same time, the world of wine has been developing by growing exponentially in all areas from the elaboration to the presentation of wines, all aimed at responding to an increasingly wide, diverse and demanding set of consumers who have been setting the pattern of innovation as an indispensable requirement for the competitiveness of the brand.

Acto 2 - 1

Bodegas El Lomo recogió el testigo y planteó, el pasado 2017, una profunda reinterpretación de la marca que alcanzó a todos los ámbitos de la empresa; desde el alma de nuestros vinos centrando nuestras elaboraciones en la riqueza y singularidad de nuestros varietales prefiloxéricos y la diversidad de nuestros diferentes Terroirs con altitudes que van desde la costa hasta alcanzar los 1150m sobre el nivel del mar. Todo se expresó en una renovada imagen de la marca y de toda la gama de elaboraciones.

Acto 2 - 2

2020 was the great challenge for everyone, at all levels and sectors, including wine, of course. We use this stage to review this new path undertaken by lighting up the definitive consolidation of the segments to which to direct our elaborations added to the creation of our Vermouths "El 18" with a marked Canarian character.

In short, "embracing change" guiding us to consolidate a key brand in the history of the wine sector in the Canarian archipelago. This is our essence and our path from Bodegas El Lomo to a new time and opens what we consider: Bodegas El Lomo ACT II.
